Update

April 2023

I originally set an annual reading of 6 books. As of this week I reached it with Maltese Falcon by Dashiel Hammett and started Carmilla by J. Sheridan Le Fanu as number 7.

I set a new goal of 10 for the year.

So long as I keep reading for classes and for fun when I pick up Aidyn and such, that should be no problem. And then, I can set a new goal.

This may not sound like much to a lot of people, especially those who read like 100 books per year, but I've always kinda struggled getting through books. Mostly it was kinda brought on in high school. Before high school I felt fine about my reading abilities and had no problem reading books. But reading for deadlines, assignments, and such, really burned me out and made me think I was bad at reading.

This past year, however, has really taught me that I am good at reading and has helped me get back into the love of it. I also do a lot of it for school as well but enjoy it.

Use the poll below and sound off in the comments.
