Sweet Sixteen Killer

A little about my first book in the Mercedes Masterson Detective Stories series.

In 2016, just before the U.S. presidential election that Trump won, I started writing my first novel titled Sweet Sixteen Killer. It was to be the first in a series of detective stories that follows private investigator Mercedes Masterson. On Halloween 2020, I released that book to the world, shortly before the U.S. presidential election that Trump lost.

I had been wanting to author novels for a long time but had struggled for a long time to do so. I eventually reached a place where I felt like I could do that in 2016 and dove in.

Sweet Sixteen Killer is a short read, as I prefer short reads myself, and wanted to create works that would benefit people like me who also prefer a quick read that doesn’t require a lot of commitment.
