I'm passionate about writing, editing, video production, and a trained method actor. I'm currently enrolled at SNHU as an English major. I'm interested in doing editing work with non-profits, independent journalists, and short fiction.

Writing a series of books called the Mercedes Masterson Detective Stories as well as maintaining a newsletter called Weaver's Deep Thoughts.
Mercedes Masterson Detective Stories: Writing a series of books. The project began in 2016 and is still ongoing. The series follows a private detective named Mercedes Masterson.
Weaver’s Deep Thoughts: A newsletter containing "deep thoughts" around such topics as LGBTQ issues, social media content moderation, and more. Also features short stories.

Pluspora was a destination pod in the Diaspora network for Google+ consumer users who have been displaced by the shutdown which took place on April 2, 2019. Moderation involved handling reports made by users, generally helping maintain a positive and enriching community for the users, writing copy for wiki of policies and terms, creating help articles and content for new users, taking part in the development of the network with the administrators. Pluspora was not a business, this was voluntary work, and was done out of love for other Google+ users looking for a new home. The Diaspora pod closed its doors after one of its founding members passed away suddenly.

Served as Staff Council Chair on the Missouri S&T Staff Council. The primary purpose of the Staff Council was to advocate for non-union staff members and help strengthen communications between staff and administration.

The Video Communications Center was a department at the Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T; formally UMR). We specialized in Distance Education, broadcasting and archiving classes online in an interactive way.
Started out as a Video Production Specialist, producing online streaming and interactive graduate level courses. Became first in-house video editor, and was promoted to Senior Video Production Specialist in charge of Technology Enhancement. Researched software solutions to implement into course work and to use with staff. Wrote technical training materials.

Worked for Channel 6, owned and operated by Fidelity Communications. The station was run like a public access station, in essence. Especially with regard to content. Did camera work, video editing, and sports commentary. As well as some producing, writing, and directing.

Worked on a TV series for East Central College-Rolla as a student. The show "Two Hosts and a Model" was a comedy sketch and variety show. It contained mock news, sketches, and local interviews. Was a co-host/actor of the show and co-wrote/co-directed every episode. The show was produced by Deborah DeWitt and the late George Jones.
