Character Persona Template
I’m currently working on a Character Persona template to be used in writing. It’s a blend of concepts from character sketches (which I used when learning method acting) and marketing personas. I first started kicking around the idea of keeping a working document on recurring characters for my book series in 2016, when I was setting out to write the first book. At the time I dabbled with creating a Google Site that worked like a wiki and even tried Notion for similar purposes as well. In the end, it just didn’t quite jive. And honestly, at the end of the day, putting information that important on someone else’s platform just doesn’t seem safe. Owning this important character document as a file seems like a safer option.
